THE CONSULTATION – IN PERSON OR VIRTUAL
Working with me begins with a comprehensive initial consultation designed to create clarity, confidence, and a personalized roadmap for your care. This first visit is intentionally unhurried, allowing us to review your medical history, cancer diagnosis and treatment plan, current concerns, lifestyle factors, and goals. We take the time to connect the dots—so nothing important is overlooked and you feel fully seen and supported from the very start.
During your initial visit, we develop an individualized integrative oncology plan tailored specifically to you. This may include targeted nutritional strategies, evidence-based supplementation, lifestyle and stress-support recommendations, and guidance to help manage side effects or improve quality of life during and after treatment. Every recommendation is carefully chosen to complement your conventional oncology care and align with the latest research, safety considerations, and your personal priorities.
Follow-up visits are an essential part of the process. Cancer care is dynamic, and your integrative plan should evolve alongside you. These sessions allow us to assess progress, fine-tune recommendations, address new symptoms or questions, and provide ongoing education and encouragement. Many patients value these visits as a space to slow down, regroup, and feel supported in a way that is often missing elsewhere in their care.
Whether you are newly diagnosed, actively in treatment, or navigating survivorship, the consultation process is designed to be collaborative, thoughtful, and empowering. This is not a quick appointment or a one-time protocol—it’s a partnership focused on helping you feel informed, resilient, and actively engaged in your health. This is Cancer Care, Reimagined.
LOCAL SERVICES
Nutritional Counselling
Nutrition is a cornerstone of my work. I provide in-depth nutritional counselling designed to support your body during and after cancer treatment, manage side effects, and promote long-term health. This goes far beyond basic dietary advice. Together, we translate complex nutritional science into practical, sustainable strategies that fit your life, preferences, and treatment plan. Food becomes a tool for nourishment, strength, and empowerment—not another source of stress.
Common topics addressed are:
- What are the best foods to eat after I am diagnosed with cancer?
- Should I avoid meat?
- Does sugar feed cancer?
- What quantity of fruits and vegetables reduces the risk of recurrence?
- Are there special diets I should follow, like fasting, ketogenic diets, juicing, or being a vegetarian?
Acupuncture
An acupuncture treatment is 45 minutes of self-care, while you relax on the treatment table and let the needles do the work. We’ll go slow and ensure you feel safe and comfortable along the way. By the time you’re done, you should feel much more relaxed, and many people report an immediate improvement.
The most common side effects that can be successfully treated or improved include:
- joint and muscle pain
- peripheral neuropathy
- sleep disturbances
- anxiety
- hot flashes
- digestive issues, like heartburn, nausea, constipation and diarrhea
- dry mouth
- urinary incontinence
IV Therapy and Injection Therapy
IV therapy is an effective way to increase energy, reduce pain, prevent weight loss, lower inflammation, improve sleep, replenish lost nutrients from cancer treatments and just generally get you feeling better.
Injection therapy is a quick way to boost essential vitamins to help with anemia, improve energy, improve immune function and assist bone health.
The most common treatments include:
